Sleepover!

And what is a sleepover, without wine?

The poor dog was just exhusted by everything

They did work off all the extra brownie calories!

Brownies and a movie... the life! They actually asked for carrots and ranch dip, but Santa's reindeer ate all the carrots, so they settled for brownies. They also made sure our bread was whole wheat before they would eat it.

Lexi does brownie quality control
Joe seems pretty unimpressed with all the girly excitement going on

Best friends! Kaila and Kaitlyn

Kaila had two sleepovers here this week. Night one, was her and her best friend since Pre - K, Kaitlyn, and day two was with Kaitlyn and Shea. I was prepared for the usuual drama of over - tired little girls getting together, but, for the most part they were all little ladies and had a really fun time. The highlight of fun seeming to be as they watched me attempt to take down the tree with Joe-the-medium-boy's help. When the tree came loose from the stand and landed on medium boy and me, and the water from said stand flew everywhere, the humor the girls found in the situation was so not appreciated at the time!In her attempt to help, little Shea opened the front door so I could get the tree outside, and let the dog out. Glad to provide the entertainment girls! Fololowing are some pictures from the sleepover in general!

Christmas pics!

Having had some sleep, and finaly remebered I attempted to start a blog last night after work, I thought I would try and play with it, and add some Christmas pictures! Keeping in mind, that most of them happened AFTER the presents were unwrapped, as thats when I finally got around to the camera. Anyone around us on Christmas knows that our Hallmark moment of the children unwrapping gifts was shattered when Little Lexi, in her excitement began demonstrating language more commonly heard in busy seaside ports. Probably for the best there was no film involved at that particular moment in time!

OMG, We started a blog!

Happy Holidays! We finally started a blog, which, if nothing else, will occasionaly be read by my Mother. So, Merry Christmas Mom! You can get up to date pictures of the kids! And, since Lexi has already figured out my new camera, I might throw in some pictures from her perspective on life, too! Since I just started this, I don't have a whole lot to add, but I do have a whole lot to learn about setting up a blog, so bear with me, as I figure this out, and find lots of pictures, and think of something somewhat worth reading to write in here!
